Joel is a singer, actor, and dancer from Singapore. After receiving his degree in Psychology from Nanyang Technological University, his passion for singing and performing compelled him to pursue Musical Theatre at LASALLE College of the Arts.

Joel’s theatre credits include Emily the Musical, My Love is Blind (concert showcase), Once On This Island (directed by Kaye Tuckerman and Tony McGill), Spring Awakening the Musical (directed by George Torbay), Cabaret the Musical (directed by Adam Marple and Nikki Snelson), The Pajama Game, Jungle Hideaway: A Children’s Musical (written by David Elfick and Peter Dasent), and Cymbeline (directed by Aubrey Mellor). He has also been featured in videos and commercials for organisations such as the Ministry of Home Affairs, Eleven Sports Network, Esplanade Singapore, and eBay.

Joel is thrilled to be working with TheatreWorks for the first time, and he hopes to provide a voice to the marginalized in society. In his free time, Joel loves to do yoga and hunt for the best ramen in Singapore!
